New Iranian VOD releases: 'Playing with Stars' to hit screens

In a noteworthy development for enthusiasts of Iranian home entertainment, a new production titled 'Playing with Stars' is scheduled to debut on screens soon. 

The film, directed by Hatef Alimardani, will hit Iranian VOD screens starting from January 10, 2024. 

'Playing with Stars' is about post-immigration hardships, delving into the life challenges faced by a young and addicted girl.

The flick made a debut at the 39th edition of the Fajr Film Festival, securing two nominations for Best Actress in the main role and Best Makeup.

The movie cast list includes Farhad Aslani, Shabnam Moghaddami, Ali Mosaffa, and Hasti Javadi.

In addition to the highly anticipated ‘Playing with Stars’, Iranian VODs are thriving with the success of several series that have garnered widespread acclaim.

These include ongoing favorites like 'Notebook', 'The Marsh’, 'Da Vinci or Something’, 'Women's Secret Network’, ‘Fereshteh’s Sin’ and 'The Accomplice'. Viewers are eagerly tuning in as these series have already presented multiple episodes.
